Netflix on Xbox

The Netflix application was a major triumph for Xbox, in terms of how many new users it brought on. With the introduction of party mode, it also represented a new and exciting possibility for how we could get people to watch movies together on Xbox LIVE. The emotes - a combination of Maya and 2d animation - provides a way for users to communicate nonverbally, so as to not interrupt the "movie theatre" experience, while still leaving the possibility for voice chat if they wished.
